The North Allegheny Tigers improved to 5-0 and defended their number 1 ranking with a hard-fought 7-3 victory over the #13 ranked Central Catholic Vikings in Week 5 of high school football.

The two ranked teams fought a battle of the defenses in this low-scoring affair last Friday.

Moving forward, the Tigers will face Pine-Richland (2-3) in Week 6 while the Vikings will face Canon-McMillan (2-3).
