Gas Price Dip Across Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Area Sees Marginal Decline

As June begins, the national average for a gallon of gasoline has decreased, driven by tepid demand and a lower oil price. As of June 2, the average cost per gallon in the United States is $3.54, marking a 13-cent drop from one month ago.

Pump prices across Pennsylvania have also edged lower in recent weeks. At an average of $3.73 statewide, each gallon is eight cents cheaper than last month.

In the Pittsburgh area, however, fuel costs have remained largely stagnant. The current price of $3.83 per gallon of gasoline is only one cent less than both last week and last month.
