As spring training ramps up in minor league baseball leagues across the country, let’s take a look at the starting schedule for the Pirates AA affiliate, the Altoona Curve, for this 2022 season.
The ongoing MLB lockout is not expected to affect minor league baseball this season, so teams are preparing for a full-length season from April to October.
According to the team’s official website, the Curve will start their season by hosting Opening Day against the Harrisburg Senators on April 8th.
The curve will play a 138-game season with 69 home games at PNG Field. The schedule continues the same format used in 2021 with six-game series against opponents.
